Our Philosophy

This is the philosophy NUOVO has held since its founding in 1987. Old values, new visions — a spirit that became the cornerstone of the gallery: to break through the frame of a single perspective, and to open a timeless new chapter filled with memories.
From our home at The Galleria on Queen's Road Central, we represent more than thirty of the world's most considered furniture, lighting and rug houses — and we share them the way a gallery should: slowly, in person, and with context.
The Story So Far
Three generations, one gallery
1950 — TODAY
1950s
The Beginning
The founder's grandmother begins selling local furniture in Hong Kong — the family's first chapter in design.
1987
Nuovo Collection
Dr. K.K. Edward Lee founds Nuovo Collection in Happy Valley — home for the next 34 years.
2010
The Transformation
The next generation returns to the business — a full rebrand, and the arrival of Fendi Casa, Armani/Casa and Bentley Home.
2021 — Today
NUOVO, Central
Pak Man Lee becomes CEO; the gallery moves to The Galleria, Central — exhibitions with Bethan Laura Wood, Ron Arad, Kwangho Lee and Joyce Wang, representing Nilufar Gallery, Collection Particulière, Baxter, Meridiani, Ozone and Modelec.
