During Hong Kong's Art Basel week 2026, NUOVO presented Sequence — A Listening Room, an immersive exhibition by acclaimed Korean designer Kwangho Lee. The designer's first solo exhibition in Hong Kong brought together 20 unique chairs and his modular carpet collection for cc-tapis, staged within the gallery's sculptural architecture and accompanied by curated soundscapes from B&O.

Kwangho Lee (b. 1981, Seoul) is a leading figure in contemporary Korean design, trained in Metal Art & Design at Hongik University. His chairs — constructed from sponge pipes and nylon rope, coated in polyurethane — resemble oversized knits and organic forms, reimagining everyday seating as sculptural objects. Influenced by works such as the anime film Ghost in the Shell, Lee explores evolution, consciousness and the emergence of the organic within industrial materials.

T.C.O.C. — The Color of Copper, Lee's collection for cc-tapis, draws inspiration from copper's oxidation and welding patterns, translating the material's evolving patina into a radiant palette hand-knotted in Himalayan wool, silk and aloe fibre. The exhibition also celebrated Bang & Olufsen's 100th anniversary, with the Limited Edition Beolab 90 delivering precisely tailored sound across five opening-night music sessions.
